No Smoking in the cabins, please!
No pets on property please, there is a lot of wildlife to see. Additionally, the DOW will hit you with a $600 fine for an interaction between your dog and any of the local critters. FYI we are dog people, but have made a pact to protect this sanctuary. Thanks for your understanding.

Housekeeping is provided before and after your visit (tidy guests make it on the short list upon their return visit!)
If additional guests will be using the pools (beyond the 4 or 6 people sleeping in the cabins), please consult with us before booking. Because of the proximity of our two cabins, the quiet valley in which we live, our small septic systems and our guests goal of solitude and privacy, gatherings larger than the amount of people which our cabins hold simply don't work —we've tried. Because of a couple bad experiences (and the fact that your security deposit depends on it), we ask you to please respect this policy. We'll all know, because our septic system was designed for small groups (see below). Mt. Princeton Hot Springs (888.395.7799) is nearby and can accommodate parties, weddings and gatherings. Thanks!
If more than the reserved number of people (including kids) stay in the
cabins, you will lose your security deposit AND be charged for the
additional people at the rate of $25 per person, per night.
Sorry, but people have been abusing us. Disturbing, we know, but they've been
black-listed forever. Not being allowed back to these good-vibe cabins es no bueno
Security Deposit: Please send a personal check payable to Antero Hotspring Cabins to 10403 West Cherokee, Salida, CO 81201, or call us to make a credit card deposit for $200.00 two weeks prior to your stay. This deposit will be returned to you if no damage has occurred or excessive cleaning is not required. Smoking inside the cabins is prohibited. Smoking in the cabins or bringing pets will cause you to forfeit your security deposit.
Reservation Cancellation: You have up to 30 days prior to your stay to cancel or change your
reservation and only be charged a $ 40 cancellation/change fee. If you
cancel or change your reservation inside of 30 days and we can re-book
your dates we will give you a refund less the $ 40. If we are not able
to re-book your dates you will forfeit all of your total stay OR you can
apply your reservation to a future stay, less $ 40. In the event that you
do re- book for a future stay, and cancel that reservation, then you will
forfeit all of your total stay.
*No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.
The pools are sweet, but since we have no lifeguards, kids should NEVER
be left unattended and caution should always be used. The pools, and
pool area can be slippery. Please, NO glass in or around the pools.
Drinking alcohol in or around the pools is not recommended. At high
elevation, you can become dizzy very easily. Be smart.
